GO DEEP list: Bertens, Cornet
GO DOWN list: Larsson, Errani
Recap after 2R: Most of the second round matches are yet ahead, but not from our list's perspective, cos Bertens already played her 2nd round match. Well, it's a perfect start (again?!), as both the "do-down" players didn't survive the first round and Bertens beat in-form Trevisan quite comfortably 62 61. Since Cornet withdrew with some injury, Bertens has become the only one player to follow - she will take on Petkovic/Sakkari next, and then it will be interesting to watch who can threaten her - Wozniacki in the quarter? or maybe Bencic in the bottom half...? Below a short summary after 2R, as mentioned there is 3-0 ATS so far:

Recap after R16 (final): Wow! Bertens lost to Sakkari, which ends her title defense in Charleston. IMO it was the biggest upset yesterday, especially that it didn't start that way - KiKi got the early lead 4-1 and then had 4 set-points in the first set's tie-break. She couldn't convert any of them, unlike Sakkari who took her first chance to wrap up the first set. Then it went even worse for Bertens... Sakkari was very solid from the baseline which irritated the Dutchwoman increasingly. Sakkari has now 3-3 record with Bertens, including 2-1 on clay which is remarkable - she definitely knows how to play with the Dutchwoman... That ends our campaign in Charleston with 3-1 ATS and +1,3 units of profit.
