2019 Australian Open - go deep/go down list & daily recaps [+3]

I am late, so for now just raw predictions...:
{edit 15.1.19} At first I didn't plan to cover Slams, I mean in terms of this GDGD project. Slams are more complicated mainly due to the depth, the number of matches and so on. But then I thought I would like to cover at least two tournaments per month and I did just Sydney in January, thus this late at night decision. But of course I have made some research and my analysis thought there is still not much knowledge about players' real form. But other factors can be assessed and based on that I have made my predictions. So let's have some fun! As the tournament progress, I will paste the particular matches resulting from GDGD players' list and mark the outcome by a color :)

GO DEEP list: Sabalenka, Keys, Kerber
GO DOWN list: Ostapenko, Larsson, Peterson

16.01.19 daily recap: so far so good. Most of the first two rounds matches were played and all three players from a "down" list are out. Ostapenko in the first round and the Swedish contingent today. So overall the "down" list is 3-1 against the spread (ATS). All three players from the "deep" list are still in play and they performed well, 4-1 ATS. After two matches Kerber looks solid and confident, Sabalenka I think is saving the energy for further rounds, and Keys still has 2nd round match in front of her and then I will be able to say sth more, but she is a Slam-player who usually reach the second week even if her form is questionable before the tournament.
23.01.19 daily recap (final): Well, I am not very regular with these recaps ;) but for now I feel it's not the most important thing for this blog. My game ended at the round of 16 when both Kerber and Keys lost their matches. Collins ...I must say WOW !! After 2018 clay season I thought that she won't be a significant player outside home soil, but as she said in one of the interviews last year everything was too new to her... so who knows, maybe she will be the dark horse of 2019 season. Keys had many chances in Svitolina battle, but Keys is Keys and when it's IN then it's ok, but when it's not IN then ...
Overall it was very good tournament for the GDGD "method" - 9-4 ATS and 4 units of profit. It's hard to predict a winner of any tournament, especially Slam but +4 units are fine to sugar the pill.
